An angry neighbor decided to take matters into their own hands after a couple were getting a little too loud while enjoying each other's company.

On Thursday, a photograph of a brutal letter was posted to the Australian Facebook group called Bondi Local Loop.

The handwritten note was found attached to the community notice board in an apartment block in Sydney and urged neighbors to be more considerate when they were getting intimate with their partners as one resident was clearly done with hearing all the noise.

"When you have sex, keep the noice [sic] down," the note started. "We hear you and the neighbour buildings."

At the bottom of the note, the words "Sex in building" were randomly plastered there too.

Of course, social media users were left amused by the note - I mean, how could you not be?

"We used to clap & cheer our old neighbours across the fence after we’d hear her screaming for dear life in those last two minutes," wrote one user. "They ended up selling house very quickly."

"Just go next door and ask if you can join in," another suggested.

A third also added that a note was not the best approach to tackle this issue and instead offered them some more tactical advice.

"[Its] much better to politely ask them if they can take a bit longer at the end and make a bit more noise while doing so as you usually don’t have time to finish yourself off before it’s over. Guaranteed to shut them up!"

This user also thought the same thing, writing: "Easiest way would be write a letter saying how you enjoy the noises during, and they'd calm down fast I think."

Another also offered their wisdom, but again, it would probably just be a temporary fix to the problem.

"My suggestion is for you to buy some ear muffs," they said.

Some users however, turned their attention to the grammar and spelling of the note, poking fun at the neighbor that wrote it.

"If the noise isn’t nice, it’s noice," joked one user while another added that while the grammar gave them anxiety, the note was still "hilarious."

I mean, I'm not sure if the culprits will be taking this note on board, but it was worth a shot, right?
