Despite the fact our lives are starting to resemble the "normal" we were all used to at the start of the year, there is still a pandemic going on.
And in an effort to prevent its spread, the CDC continues to recommend that people wearing cloth face coverings when interacting with people outside their household.
But this hasn't stopped "anti-maskers" from claiming that masks are ineffective and slamming them as being an attack on their civil liberties, an issue which has been heavily disputed.
However, for a small group of anti-maskers, the best way of letting people know that they are against masks is by wearing one which says so - and thanks to Etsy store FreedomUnmasked, now they can.

What better way to get your point across and still help flatten the curve in the process!
The bizarre stunt is now being enabled by an Esty seller and a self-proclaimed Mrs. Freedom Fighter, and for perfectly understandable reasons, it has been going viral on social media.
While some expressed their shock at some of the messages on the masks (like "expose Bill Gates [and] forced vaccines"), they said that they were ultimately glad that these anti-maskers were still following the rules and wearing them.
Other slogans included on the masks include "Placebo" and "My governor is an idiot!"

"Honestly, if it gets them to wear the mask, I'm cool with it," one Twitter user tweeted.

Another wrote: "Trickin' the magas [sic] to wear masks and makin' bank doing it? Mad respect to the hustle."

A third remarked: "I seriously thought about making MAGA masks to do the same. Drain their wallets and donate to BLM and planned parenthood."

Per Bored Panda, it's not known if the Esty seller is being serious with her masks or if they are purely satirical, but one thing is for sure: she has a lot of happy customers!
If you'd like to purchase a mask from FreedomUnmasked on Esty, you can do so here for a reasonable $9.39 (£7.47) - although, you can get a custom mask made for just $2.09 (£1.66) more.
However, if you happen to be an anti-masker, why not educate yourself on the science behind wearing them? Bill Nye broke it down perfectly in a TikTok video.
