There are few things worse than having an allergy. No one wants to spend their time at the store checking labels in case they contain a dreaded ingredient, or having to stay cooped up inside on a beautiful spring day because they don't want to risk setting off their hay fever. And it turns out that there are many famous faces who've got allergies you'd simply never expect. Here's the lowdown on the celebs you never knew suffered from weird allergies!

If you walk past any self-respecting club late on a Saturday night, you'll hear this star's music faintly echoing down the street. This 80's superstar has a bizarre allergy to dust. I can't help but wonder how she found out she was allergic to it! Was she cleaning a spot in her house that hadn't been touched in years? Whatever the reason, there are worse bizarre allergies to have and let's face it: Lauper can afford a cleaner so it's unlikely to be a problem for her.

This meant Clarkson had to undergo no less than 54 prick tests. Her arms probably still haven't recovered from all that prodding!
