Like many couples during this difficult time, Kim-Marie Gerrard and partner Mark Tooth were due to get married on Thursday, but were forced to cancel as a result of the ongoing crisis.
Fortunately, their children came to the rescue and surprised them with a wedding in the backyard of their home in Cheddleton, England.
Check out eight-year-old Ruby's wonderful video of the ceremony below:Holding the makeshift ceremony on what should have been their big day, 10-year-old Louis and eight-year-old Ruby played officiant and photographer respectively as they threw their parents a very special service.
Making sure they were looking their best, mom Kim-Marie, 36, wore her bridal dress and dad Mark, 42, donned his best suit.
Kim-Marie, a nursery manager, said: "They had set the garden up with chairs when we woke up with teddies on them as guests.
"My little boy was dressed in his suit from top to bottom with his shiny shoes on.
"They’d set everything up ready to officially marry mom and dad.
"We were absolutely amazed. We had no idea what they were doing until they woke us up and said: 'Get dressed, you're getting married today.'"

In Ruby’s video, Louis tells the bride and groom: "Welcome to our wedding, marrying mom and dad. COVID-19, you won’t stop us today.
"Thank you, Freya for the cake and Sam for the flowers. Now let’s begin."

Addressing his beaming mom, Louis asks: “Do you Kim, promise to be Mark’s friend?” to which she replies: “Yes, I promise to be Mark’s friend.”
Louis asks: “To comfort him and listen to him?” She replies: “To comfort him and listen to him, yes I do.”
Addressing dad Mark, a mechanic, Louis asks: "Do you Mark take Kim to be her friend. To kiss her and cuddle her like a grizzly bear? Dad you had better say 'I do'."
To which a laughing Mark replies: "I do."
A delighted Louis then tells his newly "married" parents: "Good, you may now kiss the bride. Congratulations."
Recalling her big day, Kim-Marie added: "My little girl wanted to be the photographer so she had the camera and was whipping round. It was quite funny but it was nice, a really good giggle."

But in order to make things more... legal, Kim-Marie and Mark are planning on holding an official wedding ceremony later this year.
But for now, congratulations to the entire family! Louis and Ruby did an amazing job!
