A father has sparked outrage on social media after revealing he pulled his kids out of school because he considered their teacher to be "overweight" and "uninspiring".

Being a teacher is an extremely high-pressured job that requires working long hours planning lessons so that you can teach your students all they're meant to know about life. Not to mention, you are obligated to keep them safe and out of harm's way while earning a less-than-average wage.

However, according to one dad named Kris Krohn - who is described as a best-selling author, speaker, real estate guru, and influencer on social media - all those qualities needed to be an educator are irrelevant if you don't look a certain way.

Earlier this month, Krohn took to TikTok to share with his 1.2 million followers that he pulled his kids out of school after finding out that their teacher was "200 pounds overweight" at a parent-teacher conference.

Watch Krohn's TikTok below:

"I looked at her and I said, 'No, you're low energy, you're depressed. You're spending more time with my kid during the day probably than I am. And I'm concerned with the amount of influence that you're exerting,'" he explained. "Because what you're teaching is not what's in the book, it's how you're living your life. You are not an inspiring human being."

The content creator alleged that "most teachers actually are uninspired and don't like what they do," claiming: "And then there's a really cool system that will keep them job protection forever. You can't get fired, so they can hate it."

"They have one of the most important jobs under the worst paid. The whole system is wrong. If you were to put your kid in public school, what do you think the teacher should be? My teachers get a ten thousand dollar raise every year. There's 70, 80 thousand dollars a year," he shared.

"And I get to pick the teacher. I'm picking the coolest, most experienced, fittest. Teach me meaning, teach me fulfillment, and teach me happy. A great teacher has world experience in their 40s and 50s and still can relate really well to a child. If I had a choice between a 30-year-old and a 50-year-old, I'd take the older one," Krohn concluded.

The father's remarks were met with a huge reaction from viewers, with many criticizing him for his "gross" comment on the teacher’s weight.

One user slammed: "Being overweight does not equal lazy, depressed, low energy. Immediate judgment based on looks is gross," while another chimed in: "These comments are gross. A person's weight has NOTHING to do with their character/ability to teach."

A third user who claims to be an educator shared: "I'm overweight and a great teacher! I may not be cool and fit but I’m really good at what I do. You make some great points but lost me on weight shame."

A fourth commenter blasted: "I’m glad you pulled your kids out. They would probably fat shame people like you do and we definitely don’t need any more negativity in this world!"

Meanwhile, a minority did seem to agree with his points, with one person penning: "Oh my gosh!!!! Speaking so much truth!" and a second adding: "The best and most honest video I’ve seen!"
