Australian influencer Matilda Baxter has stunned her followers by showing just how much her appearance has changed over the past three years, following her controversial 'Barbie Waist' surgery in Bali.
Baxter, 21, who is known online as Tilds Search, underwent rib contouring surgery in Bali around two months ago, sparking widespread discussion about her dramatically altered figure.
Now, she has left fans surprised once again after sharing a throwback clip from 2023 alongside a recent video showing off her current appearance.
In an Instagram Story posted on Monday, Baxter shared footage of herself wearing a revealing pink mini dress and posing in 2023.
She then contrasted it with a recent clip of herself walking around while highlighting her much smaller waist.
In the newer footage, Baxter appeared slimmer and more tanned, wearing a pink sequined crop top and matching skirt alongside a post-surgery corset.
Her appearance also appeared to have changed in other ways, with sleeker hair and a more defined makeup look.
Her lips and cheekbones also looked more prominent, although it is unclear whether this was due to cosmetic procedures such as dermal fillers.
Baxter appeared to hit back at anyone who preferred her previous look, writing: “Anyone saying 2023 was better clearly can't afford the 2026 version of me. Get well soon.”
Her transformation has prompted concern from some followers since she underwent the rib-contouring procedure.
Last month, she posted a video of herself in lingerie while showing off the results of her surgery.
“It looks insane. Not edited. Waist where?” she claimed in the clip.
The video quickly attracted comments from people who expressed concern about her extremely slim appearance.
One person wrote: “All I am seeing is the bones,” while another said: “Omg I remember when I looked like this. I was so sick.”
A third commenter urged her: “Please eat more, your ribs are freaking me out.”
Another added: “I'm not here to negatively judge but more protein and carbohydrates are needed. Stay safe and look after your health people.”
Some even accused Baxter of contributing to unrealistic beauty standards, particularly among younger women.
One commenter wrote: “This is disgraceful, to portray an image and encourage other young girls or women to think it's normal to look like this.”
However, not everyone was critical of Baxter's transformation, with several followers defending her right to make decisions about her own appearance.
One supporter wrote: “Comments are NOT it. This woman is educated and makes her own informed choices. She is transparent AF! Don't like it? Roll on!”
Another enthusiastically commented: “You look so beautiful you should be a top model, Victoria's Secret!”
A third fan described her as 'Incomparably Magnificent', adding that the phrase would never be an 'overused or misunderstood descriptor' when referring to Baxter.
Another simply wrote: “Girl you are starting to look unreal.”
