'Ice Cream' Tulips actually exist and they look good enough to eat

It's safe to say that spring has well and truly sprung. The world around us has erupted with color, which, given the state of things due to the coronavirus pandemic, is certainly uplifting.

However, when it comes to heralding the spring, not all flowers are in the same league, and one that is celebrated more than most is the humble tulip.

The tulip actually has its own festival that's held in various parts of the world including the US, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, India, England, and more - all of which are a welcome sign that the dark days of Christmas are well and truly behind us.

But there's a variety of tulip that's a lot more eye-catching any other you've seen before, in fact, it looks good enough to eat!

These tulips are called "ice cream tulips" and there are no prizes for guessing why.
