A popular streamer has been slammed online after playing a "prank" on a fitness influencer.
Things got a little intense when streamer Rani “Stable Ronaldo” visited fitness influencer Bradley Martyn’s Zoo Culture Gym.
Accompanied by newly recruited FaZe clan member Nick "Lacy", Ronaldo grabbed Martyn's cap off, triggering an unexpected reaction.
A visibly upset Martyn, who is known in the MMA scene for his Raw Talk podcast, demanded his cap back, but the content creator refused
Watch the video below:Martyn reacted angrily by slapping Ronaldo and saying: “Give me my f***ing hat. That’s what you get, bi***. That’s what happens, f***er.”
This left the streamer visibly shocked, as he responded: “Damn! Actually? I didn’t know that was bad, my bad brother. No, actually? Put the camera down.”
A clip of the failed prank was shared on X (formerly Twitter) and led to a debate, with many commenters saying that Ronaldo had it coming.
"Don't touch other people's stuff. This isn't high school," one user responded, while another chimed in: "Actions have consequences. These streamers are too disrespectful these days lol."
A third said: "Smack was a bit much sure but the kid needed something like this to happen. Going forward he'll think twice now. Good life lesson," and a fourth added: "'Oh I didn’t know that was bad' …this generation…lol."
The ordeal has also made headlines, but Martyn and Ronaldo seemed to have hashed out their differences shortly after. Moments after the brutal slap, the influencer offered the streamer to slap him back, so he could get back at him.
According to News.com.au, Ronaldo admitted later in the stream that he "disrespected" Martyn by taking off his hat -- but added that he feels the slap was too far.
“I don’t think he should have slapped me. I’m sure he regrets it. Maybe regret is not the right word but wishes he didn’t do that," he continued. "But technically we went to his spot where we collabed with him and we disrespected him by taking off his hat.
"I mean, he has the right to do what he wants.”
The streamer revealed that he wasn’t going to press charges after some viewers apparently urged him to sue Martyn.
“Sure, I could probably f***ing sue him but I’m not doing that. I don’t f***ing care,” he reportedly said. “I wish that didn’t happen because that f***ing hurt. But I felt I did a good job. I feel like I handled it the mature way.”
