Summer has finally arrived here in the UK, and if it's going to be anything like last year, 2019's summer is going to be long, hot, and you're going to want to spend most of your time outside.
But laying on the grass just isn't for me and patio furniture is often clunky and expensive. But thanks to budget supermarket Lidl, lounging around in the sunshine has never been easier, more comfortable, and affordable.
Yes, many of us may associate hammocks with a tropical paradise - but now you can sip piña coladas out of a coconut shell in your own back garden (much to the envy of your neighbours).

The official Lidl site says the hammocks have a "large, comfortable surface area for relaxing" and are made from "sturdy and durable fabric with a high cotton content".
The product description reveals the hammock's surface area measures at 200 cm x 100 cm, and despite being suitable for 1 person, the hammock's "strong cords with suspension loops" mean the maximum weight it can hold is 150 kg (over 23 stone) - meaning several of you out there will be able to cuddle up with a loved one.
And the 'Middle of Lidl' bargain comes in a range of colours:

The Crivit Hammock will be available from June 13th, and will cost just £6.99 - that's over £20 cheaper than their upcoming patio lounger (and I know how I'd rather be soaking up the rays).
