McDonald's has unveiled its new Christmas menu in the UK, and all we can say is that it looks like things are finally looking up for 2020 (in the fast-food department, at least).

The new festive menu consists of a number of treats that are guaranteed to help you end the year on a high, beginning with the Celebrations McFlurry.

The Celebrations McFlurry is made up of delicious soft whippy ice cream that's topped with pieces of Malteasers, Galaxy, Mars, and Twix, topped off with a sweet caramel sauce.

It costs 99p for a miniature version or £1.39 for a regular size, both of which are pictured below.

However, the Celebrations McFlurry is far from the only must-try item on the Christmas menu, and there's also a double patty Big Mac, which is sure to be a Godsent for anyone who is really, really hungry.

The four beef patties, as opposed to the standard two usually found in Big Macs, are topped with McDonald's cheese, lettuce, onions, and sauce, and it will cost you £4.19 or £5.69 as a meal.

If the double Big Mac looks familiar, that's because the almighty burger was released in the US earlier this year, but this is the first time that it's been available in the UK.

But if you thought that the fast-food chain's delicious new menu peaked at the four-patty Big Mac, that's far from the case, and another mouth-watering item worth looking out for is the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich.

The delicious new addition is made up of two pieces of crispy chicken with a spicy jerk sauce, bacon, pepper jack cheese, onion, and lettuce in a sourdough bun, and it can be yours for £4.39 or £5.69 as a meal.

The cheese melt dippers are also making a welcome return for this festive season, priced at £1.79 for four or £4.79 for a share box.

There's also a festive drink available for you to wash your feast down with, the salted caramel latte, which is priced at a very reasonable £1.69.

In a promotional tweet, McDonald's wrote: "Christmas Coffee shouldn't cost a fortune."

The new McDonald's Christmas menu is dropping in the UK on November 18 and it will be available for six weeks until December 29, giving you plenty of time to enjoy these new, delicious additions.
