Most of us have imagined what life as a Disney villain would be like.
Okay...Just me? Well, whatever, because this Halloween you have an excuse to do that very thing as Monopoly is releasing a Disney Villains edition.
The new Monopoly is available to purchase from Hasbro now, and in true villainous style, players have to scheme and steal their way to victory, with each villain having a unique power that's activated after you pass "Go".
Now, as anyone who has ever played Monopoly will attest, the game can go on for hours, but this will simply be a fun addition to your overall Halloween night and it's designed to be played in 45 minutes or less.
The game comes with Poison Apple cards which give players a competitive advantage, allowing them to steal property, send their competition to jail, take their money, and more.
The senior director of global brand strategy and marketing at Hasbro, Chedney Rodgers, told Insider: "Villains are an integral part of Disney movies and are often the root of what makes each movie mysterious and exciting. We know there is a strong fanbase for these characters and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate Disney Villains in a way fans will appreciate and love."
You will be able to play as one of six villains using the new edition: Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians), Hook (Peter Pan), Scar (The Lion King), the Evil Queen (Snow White), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), and Jafar (Aladdin).
"When picking which villains to include, it was not an easy decision," Rodgers said of the company's choice of Disney villains. "We wanted to make sure we were including the classic fan favorite characters, that consumers of all ages would recognize and embrace. Pulling from the most iconic and memorable characters, we made a diverse and balanced selection that could best translate into fun tokens for gameplay."
The new Disney Villian monopoly is suitable for ages eight and up and it can be purchased from Amazon and most retailers for $29.99.
