Lockdown has taken its toll on everyone's hair.

Whether you're a guy who has braved the shave to avoid getting a haircut for a few months, or if, like me, you've simply let your natural locks do their thing, chances are that your hair looks like it needs a little TLC.

This is also the case if you tend to dye your hair. As anyone who has attempted it will surely attest, dying your hair at home is no mean feat, and because of lockdown, more and more women are embracing their natural gray hair.

Watch this woman's amazing reaction to embracing her gray hair:

And one man who is helping a lot of women make this a reality is stylist Jack Martin, who came up with an innovative solution for a woman who was sick of dying her gray roots with an at-home box dye every two to three weeks.

He suggested that instead of waiting for her natural gray hair to grow out, she could dye her hair silver to create a more polished look that blends in with her natural color, and now it's been embraced by countless more women.

As you can tell, the results themselves are gorgeous, and the smiles on these ladies' faces really do say it all!

"My clients with naturally gray hair come two or three times a year, instead of every few weeks," Martin told Allure.

"Some clients have salt and pepper mostly in the front and the back is darker, so I match that and add some darkness to it," Martin said.

Explaining his technique to other stylists in the caption for the picture below, Martin wrote: "Matching the pattern of the natural regrow is very important for blending the hair color, but don't be afraid to add extra wider silver strands to make the hair more glamorous, we don't want our ladies to look like just a gray hair growing out."

Now, I don't know about you, but when I decide to become a glamorous granny, Martin will be the first person I turn to.
