There are some things that sound like they just shouldn't go together but actually work pretty well.

For example: Putting cheese in a cake and getting cheesecake. Jay-Z and Linkin Park had a pretty dope album. And my wife and I.

However, when it comes to bizarre concoctions, there are certain things I just won't be putting in my mouth - no matter how many of you tell me it is a "thing".

Such as this ridiculous cereal and milk challenge. Who thought this was a good idea?

But now the internet is obsessed with something even more bizarre: Milk Coke. Yes, this isn't some late April Fool's post (I honestly thought it was when I saw it), there are some sick people out there who genuinely enjoy mixing Coke and milk together and drinking it for pleasure.

The trend gained some traction on Twitter when UK comedy writer and journalist James Felton shared several images with his 170,000+ Twitter followers of him creating a 'milk Coke' and drinking it. Felton wrote alongside the images: "Milk coke is a real thing. Brummies love it. We can all move on from this discussion now, I will be taking no further questions."

I mean, whose bright idea was it to mix the white fluid that comes out of a cow and the brown sugar-water that we all know we shouldn't be drinking??

Fortunately, there were a decent number of sane people that agree with me and shamed Felton for his icky post:

However, as always on the internet, this absolutely bats**t way of thinking had a loyal following who claimed that, yes, milk Coke is a thing, it is delicious, and it is here to stay:

This tweet even explains that the perfect ratio is two-thirds full-fat Coke and one-third UHT whole milk:

So, what are your thoughts on milk Coke? Are you like me and are swearing it off your lips for the rest of eternity? Or are you a milk Coke drinker yourself? Let us know in the comments section!
