We're all looking for those little life hacks that might help us gain a few seconds of time back in our busy lives.
Even now life has changed markedly for many of us, the satisfaction of discovering a new hack to make your life easier in some way has not been dulled. After all, it gives you something to contribute to the endless zoom chats with your mates other than your latest attempt at a sourdough starter and a detailed plot run down of the book you've half finished.

And so, in the spirit of such things, here's another little life hack you can add to the list. People are discovering that the little sombrero that comes with a bottle of Sierra Tequila is actually the perfect conduit by which to salt the rim of a shot glass.

Per Pedestrian TV, all you need to do is fill the sombrero with salt, dip your shot glass in lemon juice and then dunk it in the salt-filled sombrero. From there, you'll have a perfectly salt-rimmed shot glass: tasty and classy.
It also means that you no longer need to leave an endless trail of salt around your kitchen worktop/floor as you attempt to salt your shot glass rim by some other nefarious method.
However, this is far from the only suggested function for the mini sombrero. Other fans have claimed that it is the perfect lime squeezer.

So next time you're able to actually see your friends and have a few drinks - whenever that day may come - pop the little sombrero off the top of the Sierra bottle, juice a lime, salt a shot glass and be the wannabe bartender hero you've always dreamed of being.
