Rules of 'spicy sex cruise' set to depart from Miami in just a few days with 2,300 people on board

A "spicy sex cruise" carrying 2,300 passengers is set to depart from Miami in just a few days, and its rules are now being revealed.

The forthcoming 4ourplay playcation: Temptation Cruise Fall 2025 will be setting sail in November from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay.

The trip is hosted by Temptation Grand Cruises, one of the world’s leading companies that offer an escape for couples to explore their desires in a safe, judgment-free environment.

But if you want in on the fun, you'll need to play by the rules.

The rules you must follow:

  1. Consent is necessary

With 2,300 passengers expected on board, Temptation Cruises is making it clear: consent isn’t just encouraged, it’s non-negotiable.

“Always treat other guests with respect. Consent isn’t just a rule - it’s the rule. No means no, always,” the company warns.

  1. Clothing is optional...sort of

Guests may let loose in designated clothing-optional areas, but the ship also enforces attire expectations in others.

When it comes to dining or non-private zones, passengers must wear “appropriate” clothing. The goal is freedom without pressure and respect for the space of others.

  1. Booze? Yes. Drugs? Absolutely not.

Alcohol flows freely aboard the ship, with pre-paid drinks packages available for guests looking to indulge. But overindulge, and you might be cut off.

“We reserve the right to deny alcohol service to any guest who is visibly intoxicated or not consuming responsibly,” the rules read.

Illegal drugs, on the other hand, are strictly forbidden. Bringing any on board could result in immediate removal and potential legal action.

  1. Strict no-photo policies

Privacy is paramount in intimate spaces like the Playroom or clothing-optional zones. Cameras and phones are completely banned in these areas and during theme nights.

“Save the memories - respect the moment,” the cruise line emphasizes.

  1. Additional rules include keeping noise levels down in hallways after midnight and using cabin safes to secure valuables.
  2. Temptation Grand Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line, which operate the ship, will not be held responsible for items left unattended.

What really goes on in the “Playroom”?

While Temptation Cruises isn’t marketed as a swingers cruise, intimacy coach and hypnotherapist Kate Shelor estimates that “60 to 70 per cent” of guests are part of that lifestyle.

“The other 30 per cent are not, but they want a fun, sexy, adult atmosphere,” she told Daily Mail.

According to Kate, the Playroom, also known as the ship’s infamous “red room," is a strictly couples-only zone designed for sensual exploration.

Inside, guests can sip drinks while watching or choose to join in on the action atop circular beds equipped with protective covers.

“There’s also areas where you can be completely nude, but that is in the indoor pool area only, and the rules are very strict,” Kate added.

She leads a hypnotic sex seminar inside the Playroom, an X-rated workshop that draws up to 60 couples (or throuples), where participants are blindfolded to heighten their senses and encouraged to engage in mutual touch.

“In the end, you have a room full of people orgasming together,” she said. The seminars are so popular, she’s been asked to host three on the next cruise instead of the usual two.

So, whether you're into theme nights, sensual workshops, spa sessions, or simply soaking up the sun in your birthday suit, Temptation Cruises promises something for every curious couple.

But beneath the playfulness is a firm foundation of consent, respect, and mutual boundaries.
