A Russian influencer who broke up with her husband to marry her own stepson has now given birth to his baby.
Per The Daily Star, 35-year-old health and fitness influencer Marina Balmasheva took to her Instagram account this week to post a photo of the newborn baby she had with her former stepson-turned-spouse, 21-year-old Vladimir 'Vova' Shavyrin.
The picture in question, which currently boasts over 34,000 reactions and over 1,300 comments as of the time of writing, shows Balmasheva's as-yet-unnamed baby girl, born in a hospital in Krasnodar in Russia.
The child weighs slightly over 8lbs and is 20 inches in length, and according to The Star.
According to Balmasheva, Vladimir is not ready for her to be seen on social media just yet, captioning her post: "Dad does not want to show our daughter yet. That’s why the view is only from the back. We are thinking about the name."
Per the Daily Mail, the influencer hails from the western Russian region of Krasnodar Krai, and amassed her massive social media following after documenting her weight-loss journey.
Balmasheva announced her pregnancy earlier in 2020 and revealed that she had married Shavyrin in July. In an Instagram caption translated by News.com.au, she wrote at the time:
"Tired of hiding. I know that the deadline is still small. That ultrasound with the heart is yet to come.
"But I want you to know that everything is possible in this world. We are 4 weeks old and yes, that is why we decided to get married."
News.com reports that Marina first met Vladimir 14 years ago when he was just seven years old and she was 22. Back then, she was still married to Vladimir's father, Alexey Shavyrin, with whom she lived with for over 10 years before their relationship ended in divorce.
She also reportedly adopted her ex-husband Alexey's five children when they were together.
Marina went public about her relationship with her ex-stepson in an Instagram post in May, sharing a split image that showed both Marina and Vladimir 13 years ago when he was just seven, alongside a more recent snap of them cuddling.
