The technological boom over the last 100 years has introduced some amazing things to our modern world - including driverless cars, high-speed internet, and sexting.
Yes, in this day-and-age it is common practice to seduce a partner by sending them utter filth over Messenger and WhatsApp (or SMS if you're old school).
But take it from a guy who once sent a dirty (and I mean Christina Aguilera 'Dirrty') text intended for his wife to an old friend who proceeded to show everybody he knew - sexting can blow up in your face.
Just watch how a fun gathering between friends and family quickly turned sour when a wife decided to send her husband a "dirty" text, only to have her mother-in-law read it instead.
Watch the embarrassing moment below:In the footage, 26-year-old Rory Mellor can be seeing dealing cards to a group of people sitting around a table.
Rory's wife, 25-year-old Anna Mellor then decides to send him a "dirty" text message and record his reaction.
However, sat next to Rory is his mom, Maurie Simons, 51, and after thinking the beeping cell phone was hers, she picked it up and read the sexual message, as Anna can be heard saying: "Wait, wait! No, ohhhhhhhh..."
But it was too late - and Maurie's face is an absolute picture when she reads the filthy message.
Maurie then places Rory's phone in front of him and looks away with a look that could freeze over hell itself, as somebody else around the table asks: "What is it?"
Rory then reads the message, turns to his mom, and asks: "Did you read that?!"
Then, as Rory breaks into a fit of giggles, Maurie tells the room: "I thought it was my phone! That is so gross!"
My favorite part? Just look at the two very different facial expressions at this moment:
The footage then ends as a laughing Rory turns to Anna and asks: "Did you send that?!"
Also, just notice how Maurie doesn't make eye contact with Anna once after reading the message... something tells me Thanksgiving is going to be awkward this year.
