A woman has taken to social media to claim that her parents kicked her out after she told them that she had voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

As reported by The Independent, the woman shared her story in a series of videos on Tiktok, starting back in November.

The woman, named Jules (posting under the handle @juuldaism), starts one video by saying: "You better pray for me because I'm about I'm to single-handedly ruin my relationship with my parents," as she prepares to cast her vote for the Democratic candidate.

In the video, you can then hear her mom, 60, becoming emotional and leaving the car.

This is the moment Jules' parents find out that she voted for Biden, and watch the election results unfold:

The next post has Jules explaining to her 226,000+ followers that she has been "disowned" - with all of this presumably taking place before Biden had been announced as the new President-elect.

In her next video, shared on November 8, her parents can be seen watching a live Fox News program on the projected election results with the words "Biden elected 46th President" on the screen.

"He didn't win. He stole it," Jules' dad, 70, states, while his wife claims that Biden's election win was "fraud".

Later in the post, Jules' mother can be heard telling her daughter that she "voted for this a**hole" and that her dad is extremely angry. It then cuts to the Tiktokker walking down the street with a packed bag, saying: "I'm homeless. Vote for Biden!"

In one comment, Jules writes: "Literally nothing feels real right now, this is absolutely insane, I'll keep you guys posted [love heart] thank you again."

In her next video, posted on November 13, Jules reveals that she is "third-wheeling" and staying with friends, but is still without permanent accommodation.

Jules then revealed in a follow-up video, posted on December 8, that TikTok put her on a 'Creator Fund', which means she will soon be able to get an apartment of her own.

That being said, it does seem like Jules has been able to repair her relationship with her parents (or her mother, at least) as she shared a video showing her taking a car ride with her mom and her grandmother last week.

However, both politics and Tiktok still appear to be sensitive points of discussion, as Jules' mom can heard saying that TikTok should be "thrown out" and that her daughter's followers need to "get educated".
