A woman discovered that her husband was having an affair after the things around her house mysteriously began turning green.
It doesn't need to be said, but cheating is one of the worst things you can do to your partner and there's never an excuse for it.

Sometimes suspicions of unfaithfulness can creep into a relationship and once things are confirmed, it's very hard to come back from it.
But it turns out that instead of hiring a private investigator, you can just keep an eye on the color of your furniture.
Reddit user @mioraa initially turned to the Cleaning Tips thread on the popular discussion site, seeking advice on an unexplained discoloration affecting multiple objects in her house.
“Everything in my house is turning green,” she wrote, unaware that her innocent query would soon lead to a shocking discovery.
She first noticed a greenish tint appearing on her cat’s fur before realizing that her bedsheets, feet, couch, phone charger, and even the wall had also taken on the same hue.

Puzzled, she explored potential causes, suspecting mold or her laundry detergent, but ruled them out after conducting various tests.
Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, she posted photos of the affected items in hopes that fellow Redditors could offer insight.
Users speculated about possible explanations, including her cats getting into an unknown substance, a reaction from furniture materials, or even a medical issue.
In her quest for answers, the woman took extensive measures - tracking her cats’ movements, visiting the vet, flipping her furniture, checking her water and air conditioning systems, testing for mold, changing her bedding, and even consulting her doctor.
Yet, the cause remained elusive.

“I gotta find out what it is,” she wrote, committed to solving the baffling case.
Then, an offhand remark from a Redditor, initially meant as a joke, led to a painful revelation. One user suggested the culprit could be a new pair of Old Navy jeans, known for staining fabric and surfaces.
The woman quickly dismissed the idea, stating that neither she nor her husband wore jeans. However, another commenter quipped: “Imagine this is how you discover he’s having an affair with some Old Navy-wearing woman, from the cat turning green!”
Tragically, the comment turned out to be eerily accurate.
“I hate to break it to you but… you were… right on the nose with this comment,” @mioraa later responded.

She explained that, though she initially laughed it off, the remark left her with a “strange feeling”. Acting on her suspicion, she checked their joint bank account for any Old Navy purchases.
“I’ve already had suspicions on a possible affair from the multiple last-minute overtime shifts and just overall changes in behavior. Also, my husband has cheated before so I’ve always been a bit anxious,” she shared.
Her unease only grew, prompting her to check her husband’s phone. What she found confirmed her worst fears - intimate Instagram messages exchanged with a woman who, notably, wore jeans.
That discovery was enough.
“So anyway, I’ve spent the last week at my parents with my cat,” she wrote in an update, providing limited details on how events unfolded.
“He has been served papers,” she revealed, indicating she had taken decisive action following the discovery.
Cheaters never prosper!
