You can now get a gin and flower bouquet for Valentine's Day
It's almost Valentine's Day again: a time of year when we show our appreciation for the people we love the most by showering them with expensive gifts. The usual Valentine's Day presents are now almost stereotypes: flowers, chocolates, and a card with a soppy poem in it.
But flowers wilt and die eventually. You know what doesn't wilt, and what's a great present all-year-round? I'll tell you: gin. Yes, toasting your belle or beau with a deliciously flavored spirit is the ideal way to say ''I love you'', and now a gin manufacturer has come up with a new product to help you do just that.
The Edinburgh Gin Company has come up with a perfect hybrid of beautiful flowers and delicious gin in the form of an amazing gin bouquet, which contains some pretty flora and a 70cl glass bottle of their flavored gin.
The offer comes in three distinct variations: the blushing pink Valentine's Day gin, Classic Edinburgh Gin or Rhubarb and Ginger Edinburgh Gin, and each comes with a selection of flowers as well.
Not only that, but the bouquets are made to mirror the plants in the gins, which include pinecones, dried orange, lavender, dried lime and even stems of rhubarb.
Commenting on the new product, Head Distiller David Wilkinson stated: "This year we’ve really pushed the love boat out, so-to-speak, offering three stand-out arrangements to suit every taste and preference. Each bouquet brings to life the unique wonder found within our gins, using carefully chosen flowers and botanicals that take inspiration from the delicious gin found within."
