Sure, roses are nice and jewellery is expensive, but do either really matchup to having an actual puppy brought to your door on Valentine's Day?
That's right, for those who really want to go the extra mile on the romantic holiday this year, The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County will bring a puppy and a cupcake to someone you love. Now that's a little bit special.
Per Cosmopolitan, it's been dubbed a "puppergram". The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County's Facebook post explains that these "puppergrams" entail having a shelter puppy visit you when you donate $75 or more to the shelter.
This family was incredibly reunited with their dog when he was walked past their home:And the fun doesn't stop there, because you'll also have the choice of a dozen red roses with a red velvet "pupcake", or a dozen chocolate-dipped "bacon roses" with a one hour-long axe throwing pass. Phew.
Here's their write up of the special event;
"Puppy love and valentines! Show the one you love some extra TLC with our amazing Puppergrams!! Donate $75 or more & a Vipseen Magazine personality will visit your Valentine with a shelter pup!! Choose between a dozen roses with red velvet 'pupcake" or a dozen chocolate dipped bacon roses with a one hour axe throwing pass."
Now, you'll need to live in Tennessee to take advantage of this incredible Valentine's treat, and availability is limited: according to the Facebook post there are 24 slots available for the roses and pupcake combo, and 12 for the bacon roses and axe throwing pass.
One caveat to bare in mind, per Cosmo, is that the shelter will only deliver pups to your workplace, as opposed to your home. Local news station WCYB notes that the puppies will be safely transported back to the shelter afterwards, and that they will soon be up for adoption after Valentine's Day.
