A woman has taken to TikTok to call out the discourteous behavior of a guy who had been pursuing her.
In her initial video, posted on February 23, TikTok user Samantha Burroughs shares two screenshots containing text message exchanges between herself and a man she had matched with on the dating app Bumble.
In the first screenshot, her apparently charming Bumble date, Jake, sends Samantha a series of gushing messages, telling her that she's "beautiful" and that he "can't wait" to meet her.
The pair arrange to meet, with Jake telling Samantha that he's a "lucky guy", considering he gets to take her out.
In the next screenshot, however, it becomes evident that Jake was being completely disingenuous - he wasn't the nice guy he was painting himself out to be.
Check out the video below:In a message he had meant to send to a friend, but accidentally sent to Samantha herself, he shared a picture of the TikToker, branding her a "solid 4".
Jake wrote in the message: "No bro she's a solid 4 and would for sure keep it on the low but desperate times call for desperate measures and [beggars] can't be choosers. All I saw was t**s and an easy lay."
Realizing his mistake, he wrote in a follow-up message: "Damn I'm sorry I didn't mean to send that to you... I was talking about someone else and clicked your picture on accident. My bad."
In another video posted later that day, Samantha revealed that she hadn't responded to the degrading message and that she does not intend to go out with him after his appalling behavior.
In a third post, Samantha reveals that Jake messaged her after coming across her viral TikTok video.
He complains that she didn't show up to their pre-arranged date, refusing to acknowledge his demeaning message about her.
Despite no provocation from her, Jake then continues to belittle her: "It was a joke but I should [have] picked up that you were crazy when you said you foster kids. You can't get a man so you get a bunch of broken little kids to fill that void."
He then sends a screenshot of Samantha's Instagram grid, which contains selfies of her heavily made-up, prompting Jake to accuse her of being a catfish.
Jake persistently insults her in another message screenshot, with Samantha concluding that she has unmatched him on Bumble.
As you can probably imagine, Samantha has been overwhelmed with support from fellow TikTok users:
