People have found all kinds of crazy things in their meals. Imagine preparing the food you just bought, only to discover a frog in a bag of frozen vegetables or a razor blade in your ice cream. How about a tooth in your candy bar? You never know what you might come across before you start chowing down.

For example, Eve Saint from Poughkeepsie, New York found a doorbell in her Taco Bell nachos earlier this month. After spending 45 minutes in the drive-thru line on the Fourth of July, the Fishkill branch gave her a special Independence Day surprise. Eve shared a photo of the topping on Facebook with the caption:

"TACO BELL IM COMING TO F*CK SOMEONE UP REAL FUNNY PUTTING A F*CKING DOOR KNOB IN MY NACHOS B*TCH."

The picture shows a pile of chips covered with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, cheese sauce and a doorknob? When her post received comments from people questioning its authenticity, Eve responded: "I wish this sh*t was fake I’m hungry and waited in the drive through for 45 mins and I’m the only one who got a door knob."

When Eve called the chain to ask what had happened, they said it was impossible and hung up on her. She says she called back ten more times. Eventually, she received an apology and free nachos after Taco Bell revealed the doorknob was actually the cheese dispenser pump, she told Hudson Valley Post.

Someone's getting fired.

Taco Bell issued an official statement that said: "We take this very seriously. The franchisee that owns and operates this location is looking into this matter and strives to make things right with the customer."

Next time you take a big bite, check your food for suspicious activity (like a doorknob) first.

Knock knock. Who's there? Not your appetite.
