It's safe to say that tattoo artist and model Mara Inkperial's body is comparable to a work of art - boasting hundreds of individual inkings.
The German influencer specializes in black and grey realism, with her body boasting stunning realistic portraits, calligraphy, and geometric designs - literally from head to toe.
As a result of her eye-catching appearance, Inkperial has amassed 666,000+ followers on Instagram alone, and along with showing off the stunning tattoo work she does on her clients, Mara also frequently treats her fans to sultry shots showcasing her impressive array of inkings.
However, the model decided to changed things up a bit in one post, by showing her followers what she would look like if she wasn't covered in tattoos.
Mara used a Dermacol foundation, a high-coverage foundation used in Hollywood that promises to "completely cover acne, loss of pigmentation, post-surgical bruising, tattoos etc."
She captioned the post: "So much fun to Play with the dermacol make up [...] i Like that undercover feeling ... and the anonymity without tatts... but also boring without the Ink ... what do you think? Left or right? [sic]"
And as well as being blown away by how amazing the foundation is at covering tattoos, many of Mara's followers were also stunned by the transformation, with the post amassing over 28,000 likes.
However, when Mara asked her followers to pick between the two, her dedicated fans overwhelmingly preferred the image on the right of her with her stunning tattoos:
Either way, I think Mara looks great.
In the year 2020, tattoos are a lot more accepted than they used to be.
A 2016 US poll found that 29% of people had a tattoo, with nearly half (47%) of millennials - people born between 1982 and 2004 - saying they had been inked.
Another tattoo model who recently revealed to her fans what she looked like without ink is Amber Luke - a 24-year-old model and social media star from New South Wales' Central Coast in Australia.
After holding a Q&A with her 80,000+ Instagram followers, Luke was asked what she looked like before her body modifications.
And Luke happily obliged, sharing a picture of herself with no tattoos, blonde hair, and wearing a floor-length blue ball gown.
