A newly married woman has been getting warnings from TikTok users after she shared some of her wedding photos.

Heather - also known by her TikTok handle @heatherlynn6977 - sparked an intense reaction on the video-sharing platform after she posted a 27-second clip showing everyone what were supposed to be cute snapshots from her big day.

But commenters believe the photos show something else altogether.

At first glance, the photos seem like love wedding photos; Heather looks amazing in her dress, and her loved ones look to be having a good time, all the usual things you'd expect from a wedding...

But then, we reach the group photos and that's when things took a turn.

Check out the clip below:

Upon looking closely at the groom, the new wife sees a hand linking her husband's arm, and in the next photo, that same hand appears to be hovering over his crotch, before the final photo shows the pair now holding hands.

Alongside the shots, Heather wrote: "Getting your wedding photos back and [you] notice something..." before light-heartedly ending with "Guess I’m getting a sister wife."

For those of you that might not be aware, the term "sister-wife" is a polygamous term that refers to any of the women married to the same man.

But in the caption and subsequent videos, Heather clarified that the bridesmaid in question - known as "Shirls" - was simply nervous and became unstable in her heels after being asked to perform some fun poses.

However, that did not stop TikTokers from running to her comment section to offer their thoughts on the fiasco.

"The photographer caught the vibe and made sure you got [these] pictures lol" said one user while another agreed, saying: "[The] Photographer was trying help you out!!!"

"I have so many questions," commented Jennifer.

And this TikToker admitted their focus was initially on something else, writing: "Damn and here was I, thinking 'did you notice the lighting was terrible in all of these' oof I hope you didn't pay too much money for those."

And the comments didn't stop there.

"Did she not get the memo that she was not the bride?!!!!!"

"I’m assuming you all are very close, but they’re your wedding photos and it’s almost like she’s trying to also be center of attention."

This user took it one step further and explained how one shouldn't ignore these "red flags": "On behalf of all of us who ignored our intuition, if yours is throwing red flags please don’t make the same mistake we did."

That's slightly unnerving, isn't it?

In a follow-up video the couple explained that the drama was unnecessary because the bridesmaid was "just a friend" who had lost her balance during the photoshoot.

"A bunch of you speculated what happened and she did just lose her balance and was grabbing onto me," her man, Travis, says to the camera. "Sorry to disappoint everybody who wanted me to be a cheater and the bridesmaid-to-be a home wrecker. That is not actually what happened."

But did this convince the naysayers? Absolutely not.

And let's just say they were more blunt the second time...

"She’s sleeping with him girl tag me when you find out," one user said, with many others believing that some sort of soap opera-style affair was taking place.

In one more final attempt to cool things down, Heather later uploaded footage from the pair's photoshoot, along with the photographer's audio.

"She did lose her balance," she wrote in the caption. "[And] she didn’t touch his crotch, they were listening to the photographer. TikTok made it go viral, we are still laughing at the commentary."

Fortunately, the new husband and wife have been able to see the funny side of it all, as they shared a video of themselves laughing, drinking beers, and checking the comments.
