Popping the question is a nervewracking experience. You've found the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with and now you want see if they feel the same way.
Now, first thing's first, while waiting on an answer to a proposal can be scary, what's just as scary is making sure that it's a romantic moment that you and your partner can cherish forever.
So when self-confessed "unromantic" dad John Sellors knew it was time to pop the question, he knew he was going to need a little help.
This stuntman set himself on fire while proposing:

Cobie Sellors was born ten weeks early, weighing just 3lb 9oz, and his birth resulted in a difficult time for his parents Sian Stafford, 26, and John, 29.
Because of the current pandemic, they were unable to introduce him to their family and friends on the hospital ward, so when John decided that he wanted to pop the question to Sian, he really only had one person he could ask: his son.

On August 3, the duo pulled it off perfectly when alongside an engagement ring in an open box, John placed a note inside two-day-old Cobie's incubator that read: "Mummy, will you marry Daddy?"

At first, Sian was overwhelmed, not because of the proposal, but because she noticed that her son was breathing without the aid of a machine for the first time.
It was only afterward that she realized that her partner was simultaneously popping the question and naturally she said yes!
Recounting the sweet proposal on Facebook, Sian wrote: "Everybody that knows John [knows] he is not romantic at all, this blew me away and I know we have so much to look forward to once Cobie is home."

The happy couple, who have been together for eight years and have a four-year-old daughter, now intend to start planning their big day once Cobie is discharged from the hospital.
