A woman who hit the headlines after revealing that she was engaged to a ghost has said that she called off the couple's upcoming nuptials after he got "drunk with spirits".
Amethyst Realm broke the sad news via a socially-distanced interview from Portugal with This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield.
In the video below, Amethyst reveals her engagement to the ghost:The medium explained that her relationship with the ghost, whose name is Ray, is now over and that she has taken the necessary steps to prevent the spirit from entering her home.
She said that her ghost partner "fell into a bad crowd" and "became inconsiderate and would go away for long periods, and bring other spirits back" when she was away. "It was going really well until we went on holiday, then he changed."
Discussing how she rid herself of the spirit, Amethyst said: "I ended up placing black tourmaline around the house, which keeps spirits away. I did a sage cleansing, incantations - I just had to get rid of him, as you would any other spirit."
Amethyst's revelation that the relationship has ended comes two years after she appeared on This Morning to reveal that she'd had sexual relations with 15 ghosts in Australia before finally finding the spirit she wanted to settle down with.
"One day, while I was walking through the bush, enjoying nature, I suddenly felt this incredible energy. I knew a lover had arrived," she said of the ghost man she thought was the love of her life.
She even said that the pair's relationship had progressed to the point where they were thinking about having a ghost baby.
"It's pretty serious," Amethyst said. "In fact, we've even been thinking about having a ghost baby."
"I know that sounds crazy, but I've been looking into it and I don't think it's totally out of the question."
Amethyst said that her own family, as well as Ray's, were upset that the unusual couple had decided to part company, saying: "Ray's family I've had a little bit of contact with, they're just sad about the way he's behaving."
