A woman has taken to social media to share the moment she confronted a male gymgoer who took a photo of her as she worked out.
Janelle Rodriguez took to TikTok (under the handle @j_rodriguezxo) to share several videos detailing the troubling incident.
In the first video, captioned "Creep exposed", Rodriguez can be seen approaching a man at her Planet Fitness. Clearly out of breath from her workout, Rodriguez can be heard asking the man: "Hi, how you doing? Someone just came and told me that you took a picture of me?"
The man - who says his name is "Bob" - quickly denies the accusations, which prompts Rodriguez to ask to see the camera reel on his phone, which he declines.
Unsatisfied with the man's answer, Rodriguez tells "Bob" she is going to ask staff to review footage from security cameras.
In the second video, the man finally pulls out his phone and begins flicking through, as Rodriguez tells him: "I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it."
However, after turning his screen to show Janelle, she writes over the video: "He didn't show me the most current pic, I saw a close up of my butt on his phone".
Understandably angered by seeing a photo of herself on the man's phone, Rodriguez starts shouting at the man: "Delete it right now, before I make a f***ing scene!"
In the third video, an irate Rodriguez screams at "Bob": "Delete it right the f*** now, that's very disrespectful - how dare you!?"
She adds: "How dare you take a picture of me while I'm working out - take a picture of my a**!"
All the while, "Bob" repeatedly tells her to "relax" as he tries to leave the gym - but Rodriguez prevents him from doing so.
In a fourth video, Rodriguez tells "Bob": "My body is not for you to f***ing take a picture of!"
She then instructs him to prove that he has deleted all the pictures of her from his phone - including the ones in the 'Recently Deleted' folder.
Rodriguez has since revealed on her TikTok account that "not once" did any member of staff from Planet Fitness come to check on her to see if she was okay, despite the gymgoer claiming that employees at the front desk witnessed the entire altercation.
She has since revealed that "Bob's" gym membership was revoked.
In the comments section of the videos, Rodriguez was praised by fellow social media users for standing up for herself, with one person writing: "If she didn’t persist, he would never delete them pics. I’m so proud of baby girl."

And in response to some people trying to downplay the act by saying it was "just a photo", one commenter wrote: "How are women supposed to feel safe working out there? It's more than just a picture".
