A woman has divided social media with her response to a man choosing to sit just 10 feet away from her on an otherwise empty beach.

TikTok user Korynne, who goes by @korynnec on the app, shared footage she had taken at the beach, explaining in the text overlay that an "old man" had "park[ed] himself 10 ft in front of" her towel on a "completely empty beach" while she had been napping.

She added that, as a result of the man placing himself nearby, she knew what "needs to be done".

Check out the divisive video below:

In the clip, the young woman can be seen panning the camera to show her followers that, aside from herself and the man nearby, the beach was vacant.

Korynne is also seen sticking her middle finger up at the man, who appears not to see the gesture.

At one point, he looks up, and in the frame that comes after, the woman gets up from her towel and runs past the man as she heads to the water, prompting the man to look up.

In the video, she can be seen very close to the man as she sprints over to the water.

Korynne wrote in the caption for the video: "PROMISE I’ll make u more uncomf then u make me. Also my flat feet grip sand as good as a shovel #baywatch #handled."

The caption seems to imply that her reason for running past him was so the impact of her sprint would leave him covered in sand.

The video received a mixed response, with some criticizing the woman for provoking him.

One commenter said: "He's laying there, you're flipping him off, he looks, puts his head back down so you run past him. Seems more like you're wanting his attention."

Another added: "Looks more like your harassing him. Lol."

A third said: "it's not your beach."

However, many of the commenters took Korynne's side, with one writing: "Notice how the MEN think you overreacted and the MEN think you could’ve moved. Girl I liked it, passive aggressive and it worked."
