Getting catfished by a stranger is pretty horrible.
But imagine being catfished, only to find out that the person behind the screen was your own boss.
That's what happened to Olivia Fenton, who posted a video on TikTok in which she shared her dating horror story.
In a clip posted to the social media platform, she explained how it all began when her female boss suggested setting her up with their "best guy friend."
Olivia accepted the offer and - over messenger - planned her first date with the supposed 'mystery man.'
But on the first date, he stood her up. Olivia gave the guy a second chance - only for him to be "stuck in meetings" and miss the second date.
She gave him one final chance, but described how: "On the third date he came to the bar, didn't see [me] and left, then tried to come back to find [you] and his train got stuck underground."
After all that, Olivia decided enough was enough and text her manager saying it wasn't going to work out.
But when he reached out to her again on Christmas, she decided to give the guy one last shot.
They organized a "redemption dinner", "which he never arrived to because he got in a car accident," Olivia recounted.
Around this point, she started to put the pieces of the puzzle together and suspect that the mystery man wasn't really her boss's friend - but that they were her boss in disguise.
To her horror, Olivia discovered that her boss had a burner phone, had been using a random boy from Georgia's photos, and had even sent flowers to Olivia's address under the guise of this 'blind date.'
But when she realized that her boss's handwriting was an exact match with that of the 'guy' she had been talking to, Olivia had all the proof she needed.
Since uploading her dating nightmare to TikTok, the clip has been viewed over 3.7 million times and amassed over 13,000 comments - many of them from viewers demanding an update on the crazy saga.
"We need so much more info RIGHT NOW," one person wrote.

Olivia delivered, posting an update video soon after.
"Yes my manager was fired. I went to HR and they handled it immediately," she told her followers.
She added that this wasn't an isolated incident, saying: "also found out she did this to a woman at her previous company."
As for her boss's motivations, Olivia theorized that she was "coming to terms with her sexuality."
"I think she might have had a crush on me and just took it way too far," she said.
