A woman has gone viral online after stunning the internet with her genius hack to remove stubborn price tags that simply don't want to budge.

We've all been there - you've bought a new product of which you are temporarily quite proud. But there's a blight upon it - a price tag or sticker that simply won't come off no matter how persistently you chisel away at it.

This is particularly troublesome if you're planning on giving the product in question as a gift. As all gift-givers will surely attest, leaving the price tag on a present is a social faux pas of elephantine proportions.

So what are we to do, those of us who are currently frantically scraping away at price tags with little-to-no success?

Well, one woman has come firmly to the rescue, going viral on TikTok in the process with her genius method for dealing with price tags and the often-sticky residue they leave behind.

"I have a life hack that is going to blow your mind. Well, it blew my mind," she said.

"Anything with a sticker tag, stop peeling it off." She continued, before demonstrating how to use a small amount of tape and stick it on top of a label.

"Take your piece and stick half of it onto the tag, and rub it so it's really on there. Make sure you leave a little bit of a tail," She said. "Then you wax it off."

And the simple yet totally genius hack really does seem to work as she then demonstrated the method successfully on a number of different labels.

And viewers were absolutely delighted with the new knowledge they'd gained from the video.

"The amount of hours I've sat going to war with these," one commenter lamented, while another added, "You've probably saved billions in lost time."

"There is literally no need for school, I have learned everything actually useful from TikTok," a third viewer enthused.
