In a shocking story, a dead body believed to be that of a former employee has been found inside an Arby's restaurant freezer in Louisiana.
It was reported that another employee had stumbled over the gruesome scene at the New Iberia restaurant located 130 miles west of New Orleans at approximately 6:30 PM while on shift, TMZ reports.
Sergeant Daesha Hughes spoke to The US Sun, revealing further details about the incident.
"The New Iberia Police Department responded to the business of Arby's located on East Admiral Doyle Drive at approximately 6:20 PM in reference to a body found inside of a freezer," Hughes said. "The death is suspicious and being investigated."

However, while the incident was initially described as "suspicious" as per local news outlet KLFY TV, it seems as though after some further investigation that it could have actually been accidental.
Speaking to KADN TV Police Capt. Leland Laseter said: "A situation like this is unusual, so we're taking extra precautions during the investigation."
He also added: "[We] pretty much have completed our process at the crime scene. After completely processing the crime scene... this does not seem like a homicide, it seems like an accident."
As of right now, an investigation is underway to confirm the identity of the deceased.
"We're going to re-examine all the evidence ... and they're going to conduct an autopsy to give us the cause and manner of death. So there are a few more steps that we need to take before a [final] determination is made," Laseter said.
As per Fox News, police have interviewed several employees who work at the restaurant but so far, no suspects have been named.
