Chloë Grace Moretz appears to have found her real-life "Hit Girl" — model Kate Harrison.
In fact, the Kick-Ass star set social media alight on New Year’s Day, sharing a photo that seemed to confirm their engagement.
In an Instagram post rounding up 2024, Chloë, 27, included a snapshot of her and Kate at the beach, their fingers intertwined and both sporting matching rings - both placed on their respective left-hand ring finger.
Moretz captioned the post: "Happiest New Year. So thankful for what this year has brought. The people, the places, our families, our health, our love. Wishing all of you a peaceful start to this new year."
While the New Year’s post appeared to mark a milestone, eagle-eyed fans might recall seeing the sparkler much earlier. Back in June, Chloë shared a photo dump that included a glimpse of her left hand adorned with what looked like a diamond ring on a gold band.
In the Instagram post, which featured her friends Mia Bensimon and Carina DiMeglio flashing their own engagement rings, Chloë teased, “Haven’t done a photo dump in a while.”
If this timeline is correct, the couple may have been engaged for several months, keeping their happy news under wraps.
Chloë and Kate, 34, have been romantically linked since 2019, when they were spotted sharing a kiss during a Malibu night out. Over the years, they’ve preferred to keep their relationship private, though fans have been treated to occasional glimpses of their life together.
“I like to keep my private life private,” Chloë told The i Paper in 2022. “And I really enjoy that.”
Despite their low profile, the couple hasn’t shied away from celebrating milestones together. In June 2023, Kate posted a photo of the pair attending the NYC Dyke March for Pride Month, captioning it: “What an amazing adventure with amazing people.”
A month later, the duo soaked up the summer sun during a Fourth of July trip to Cape Cod, with Chloë sharing a sweet selfie of them and writing: “Little time on the Cape for the Fourth.”
Most recently, the couple enjoyed a magical day at Disneyland. In May, Kate shared a playful photo of Chloë giving her a piggyback ride, her ring noticeably on display. Chloë captioned the post with her signature humor: “Happiest place on earth, etc. Swipe for some terrible, out of sync heel clicks.”
While Chloë and Kate haven’t officially announced their engagement, fans are thrilled about their apparent next chapter together.
