It's safe to say that 2018 has been a big year for John Legend; not only has he become a dad for the second time, but he's also had the honour of being nominated for an Emmy for his role in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.
As ever, his loving spouse Chrissy Teigen was super-supportive of her man, and showed her love for his achievement by tweeting: "13 nominations for Jesus Christ Superstar this morning! John got two emmy nominations! If he wins, he will complete his EGOT and my spike tv award will probably be moved. But it’s ok I AM SO PROUD! [sic]"
However, when Chrissy relayed the good news to John's father-in-law, Ron Teigen, his reply was hilariously unexpected. When Chrissy texted her dad: "John got two emmy nominations for Jesus Christ. He will probably get the EGOT!" Ron was either confused, or trolling, because he promptly responded with a photo of an SD card and wrote: "Don't have any blank thumb drives but got this." In classic Chrissy fashion, she decided to share the exchange with her followers.
