Victoria Beckham’s sculpted figure doesn’t come without serious dedication, and a highly disciplined approach to both fitness and nutrition.

The fashion designer and former Spice Girl commits several hours each week to what she calls her "non-negotiable" personal training sessions.

But a fit body, she believes, is made just as much in the kitchen as in the gym. Victoria’s famously strict eating habits have made headlines before, especially after her husband David Beckham revealed she’s apparently been loyal to the same meal for over 25 years.

“Unfortunately, I’m married to someone who has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years,” David said during an appearance on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast. “Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish and steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from that.”

Even their daughter Harper, 13, recently poked fun at her mum’s limited culinary skills in an Instagram Story, saying: “Mummy, you can’t even make cereal… Well, you can make chicken Kiev, but that comes from M&S.”

It’s little wonder, then, that Victoria prefers to keep things simple in the kitchen.

However, in an interview with Net-A-Porter, Victoria offered a more nuanced view of her dietary habits, and clarified that her meals aren’t as monotonous as her husband suggests.

“I’m flexible with food, especially because David and I are very sociable and love eating out,” she explained. “But when I eat clean, I notice a real difference, my skin glows, my eyes are brighter, and I have far more energy.”

She went on to describe her go-to meals: “I eat a lot of fresh fish, vegetables, and salads, along with seeds and nuts. I love fruit, but I don’t eat too much as it can make me feel bloated.”

Though disciplined, Victoria doesn’t deny herself the occasional indulgence.

“My treat is a few glasses of red wine, and I do love tequila,” she said. “I also eat carbs. I include plenty of avocados and healthy fats like salmon.

"With four kids and a full-on career, this approach helps me stay energized and give 100 percent.”
