Super Bowl LIX kicked off with an unexpected showdown - not between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles but between two Hollywood stars: Jon Hamm and Bradley Cooper.
Both actors took center stage at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans to hype up the 75,000-strong audience as they introduced their respective teams.

Hamm, a die-hard Chiefs fan, was there to rally support for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, while Cooper, an avid Eagles supporter, got his team’s fans fired up.
The Oscar-nominated star took things up a notch by holding a young Eagles superfan, eight-year-old Declan LeBaron, in one arm as he rallied the crowd: “Alright, from the City of Brotherly Love... your 2024 NFC Champions.”
The two then led the fans in an electrifying chant: “E-A-G-L-E-S - Eagles!”
Meanwhile, the Mad Men actor stepped up to introduce the Chiefs, confidently announcing: “Make some noise for your two-time defending Super Bowl champions.”
Watch the moment below:There was just one problem with the Landman actor's introduction: His voice cracked mid-sentence while saying “Super," and fans in the stadium and on social media did not let it slide.
The awkward squeak was followed by noticeable boos from the crowd, making the star's moment one to remember for all the wrong reasons.
"Jon Hamm voice squeak gives me so much hope in life," one user on X (formerly Twitter) quipped, while another joked: "Not Jon Hamm’s voice cracking like a kid in puberty."
A third added: "Jon Jamm’s voice crack is my favorite player #SuperBowl."
Many online users were quick to declare Cooper the clear winner of this unexpected pre-game battle.
“Bradley Cooper > Jon Hamm by a billion light years,” one person declared. Another piled on, writing: “Jon Hamm squeaked so Bradley Cooper could squawk," and one more added: "Oh Bradley Cooper SMOKED Jon Hamm with the introduction."
One fan jokingly demanded that both actors get on the field, penning: “The Chiefs and Eagles should be required to put in Jon Hamm and Bradley Cooper for one snap just to see what happens.”

While Hamm's intro provided an unexpected comedic moment, the real action was still ahead.
The Chiefs have entered the match as slight favorites, with the Eagles looking for revenge after losing to them in Super Bowl LVII in 2023.
As for the entertainment, the halftime show is expected to kick off between 8PM and 8:30PM ET, depending on the duration of the first half between the Eagles and Chiefs.
