Orlando Bloom may have claimed the title of World’s Best Housekeeper, and it’s not because of his dusting skills alone.

The 47-year-old actor had the perfect reaction after fiancée Katy Perry dropped a not-so-subtle bombshell on the Call Her Daddy podcast. In her candid chat with host Alex Cooper, Perry revealed that tidiness around the house can lead to some very adult rewards.

“If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done it all, all the dishes, closed the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d**k sucked,” the pop star said with a laugh.

Never one to miss a beat, Bloom cheekily commented on Perry’s latest Instagram post, which featured photos from her podcast appearance, writing: “I’ve cleaned the whole house.” The comment quickly went viral, racking up over 5,000 likes and hundreds of replies from amused fans.

Perry, 39, and Bloom have been together for eight years and got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019. They share a daughter, Daisy Dove, born in August 2020. Bloom also co-parents his 13-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

On the podcast, Perry didn't hold back, calling domestic chores her ultimate love language.

“I don’t need a red Ferrari,” she joked. “I can buy a red Ferrari. Just do the f**king dishes! I will suck your d**k! It’s that easy.”

But the episode wasn't all playful banter, Perry also opened up about the early challenges in her relationship with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.

The couple briefly split for a year, during which Bloom decided to focus on personal growth by enrolling at the Hoffman Institute, a wellness retreat that helps participants work through emotional patterns and habits.

Inspired by his transformation, Perry attended the program herself. “I got the tools, and we started speaking the same language,” she said, adding, “It changed my life. I would be dead without it, I would not be on this planet without that process and meditation.”

Bloom, too, has been open about their relationship journey. On What Now? With Trevor Noah, he described the balancing act of maintaining a romance between two global stars.

“I wouldn’t change it for anything,” he said. “Even when it feels like, ‘How do we do this?’ we just keep coming back to each other.”

He added: “I try to hold her hand and walk her back to the sandpit and say, ‘Let’s just build a sandcastle.’”

It’s safe to say the sandcastle, and the dishwasher, are both getting plenty of attention in the Bloom-Perry household.
