There are very few people in the world who could rival Snoop Dogg’s legendary reputation for cannabis consumption, but one fellow musician has managed to leave even the West Coast rapper stunned.

Despite decades of cultivating his image as hip-hop’s most famous stoner, Snoop himself admits that he once encountered someone who smokes at a pace that even he struggled to keep up with.

Snoop has long embraced marijuana culture as an essential part of both his music and his lifestyle. Fans were hardly convinced when he jokingly announced he was “quitting” smoking last year, and he quickly admitted it had been nothing more than a publicity stunt.

Over the years, he has spoken often about his habits, even going so far as to hire a personal blunt roller to keep up with his daily consumption. Yet even the self-proclaimed cannabis connoisseur has his limits.

During an episode of his online talk series Snoop Dogg TV, he sat down with Chicago rapper Chief Keef, and the conversation turned (unsurprisingly) to weed.

The two swapped stories about music, family life, and favorite indulgences, but it was the exchange about their smoking habits that became an unexpected viral moment.

Snoop, curious to learn how much his guest could handle, asked Keef about his daily intake. The 29-year-old shocked both the host and viewers when he casually revealed: “I smoke two ounces. Like two ounces a day.” The admission left Snoop visibly taken aback.

For context, an ounce of marijuana can often be stretched into dozens of blunts, depending on how they are rolled. The fact that Keef goes through twice that amount in just 24 hours seemed unfathomable, even to someone with Snoop’s experience.

Trying to put the staggering number into more practical terms, Snoop pressed him further. Keef explained that for him, an ounce translates into about one pack of Backwoods cigars; roughly five blunts. Meaning, in total, he consumes two full packs, or ten heavy blunts, every day.

Snoop shook his head in disbelief, laughing as he responded: “You smoke a whole f**king ounce with five blunts?! Slow down, brother, you could get ten out of that man!”

The exchange quickly circulated online, with fans marveling at Keef’s tolerance and Snoop’s uncharacteristic shock.

If the man most associated with marijuana in popular culture is telling you to take it easy, it might be a sign you’ve truly reached the outer limits of consumption.

Still, Snoop couldn’t help but admire Keef’s dedication, chuckling: “I love it. I f**king love it.”

The revelation came as Snoop continues to expand his cannabis empire. In addition to his physical dispensary in Los Angeles, he recently launched an online store, SWED.com.

The name itself is a playful nod to his famous mantra, “Smoke Weed Every Day.” For someone who has built a career intertwining music and marijuana culture, it seems only fitting.

Yet even Snoop Dogg, the king of cannabis, has to tip his hat to Chief Keef for setting a new bar; one that few, if any, could match.
