Vanessa Hudgens has welcomed her first child with MLB star husband Cole Tucker.

The 35-year-old High School Musical alum was spotted lovingly holding her newborn as she exited a hospital in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday, July 3.

Accompanied by her husband, who turned 28 on the same day, Vanessa was wheeled out in a blue wheelchair by Tucker and a female nurse. The new mom looked overjoyed, cradling her baby wrapped in a white blanket with blue stripes, topped with a soft fabric cap.

Despite hosting a gender reveal party in May, Vanessa has not yet publicly disclosed the gender of her baby. On her way out of the hospital, she sported a blue pajama top and black sweatpants, waiting patiently with Cole at the valet.

Her signature dark hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and she wore black, thick-framed glasses.

Tucker, who received a heartfelt birthday shout-out from Vanessa on Instagram, stayed close to his wife and newborn, helping load their belongings into the car. He was dressed casually in an aqua blue hooded sweatshirt, shorts, and slide sandals for the special day.

The Los Angeles Angels player was seen pushing a white cart filled with their bags, including a giant Dior duffle with a pink and white Stanley cup peeking out, a large Alo Yoga tote, and a brown backpack.

Vanessa and Cole were surrounded by several family members at the hospital, sharing in their joyous moment.

Fans had speculated about Vanessa's pregnancy long before her Oscars reveal in March, where she stunned in a skintight, high-neck black gown. She later flaunted her baby bump at the Vanity Fair after-party in a glamorous sheer dress.

Throughout her pregnancy, Vanessa kept fans updated with bump photos on Instagram and appearances in midriff-baring outfits in Los Angeles.

In May, she opened up to E! News about showing her future children her film and TV work.

"I'll show my kids all my work," she admitted. "That's why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age."

Vanessa and Cole’s romance began in 2021 after meeting during a Zoom meditation session amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple got engaged in February 2023 after two years of dating.

Vanessa first sparked pregnancy rumors following her bachelorette party in Aspen, Colorado, in October 2023. On the She Pivots podcast in March, she candidly shared how the "rude" pregnancy speculation made her feel "fat" during what should have been "the happiest" time of her life.

"It was disrespectful," she expressed. "I literally just had a run-in with the public taking control over their opinion of me."

Ten months later, Vanessa and Cole tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Tulum, Mexico, on December 2, 2023.

Recalling the emotional moment of seeing Cole at the altar, Vanessa told Vogue, "I literally keeled over when I saw Cole and had to take a big breath to keep walking because I could have dropped to the floor."

Their exchanged vows were described by Vanessa as the "most beautiful thing ever."

Before meeting Cole, Vanessa had a long-term relationship with Elvis actor Austin Butler. Reflecting on their breakup, she told She Pivots in March: "I feel my last breakup has really catapulted me to a very, very special place, obviously. It pushed me to the right person."

She praised Cole, saying: "He's just the most supportive, real, understanding human being that I've ever met."

Alongside celebrating the arrival of their baby, Cole also marked his 28th birthday. Vanessa paid tribute to her husband on Instagram with a sweet post featuring her favorite photos of him.

"Happy birthday to my slice of heaven @cotuck," she wrote. "You make the world a brighter place just by being you."

The heartfelt post included snaps of the couple kissing on a baseball field and enjoying their wedding weekend, as well as attending a show at the Las Vegas Sphere.
