An influencer has been on the receiving end of backlash after posting a "dangerous" picture with her baby.

Brazilian fashion model Camila Coelho, who boasts an impressive 9.9 million followers on Instagram, has been facing some heat after she posted a carousel of photos with her son on a balcony in Paris.

While you would assume the nature of the images couldn't have been that bad, it seems as though a lot of people had a problem with the fact that the influencer was holding her baby so close to the edge as she posed for multiple photos with him.

In two of the pictures, she was also lifting her son high in the air, which could be considered highly threatening.

Have a look at the controversial post below:

Of course, fans were seemingly concerned about the move and decided to call the 35-year-old out on it.

"Pls avoid holding the baby so close to the ledge no matter how careful we are it’s just unexplainably dangerous," this user wrote.

Another added: "This picture makes me so nervous!!! Don’t put the baby in the balcony please!!!"

And a third compared it to Michael Jackson's infamous incident wherein he dangled his baby, Blanket, over the edge of the balcony in his Berlin hotel room.

And the comments didn't stop there.

"'Mom is holding him' that is how accidents happen. This picture gives me headaches! Nobody cares about reading your caption and even checking your outfit! You are fantastic in fashion, like your page a lot! but this is a big NO."

And this Instagram user said it gave them "anxiety," writing: "This picture just gave me anxiety baby so close to the edge."

According to ChildInjuryFirm.com, annually, more than 4,000 children in the United States receive emergency medical treatment following a fall from a window or balcony. An average of 12 children die every year as a result of such falls.

They also specified that approximately 70% of these kids fall from a second or third-story window.
