Social media influencer and OnlyFans model Rachel Mee has passed away aged 25, just days before her newborn's first-ever Christmas.

Rachel Mee - also known as Rachel Kaitlyn - was an influencer from Newcastle, United Kingdom, and had over 40,000 followers on Instagram, which she often used to advertise her OnlyFans and Playboy pages.

The influencer tragically died last Sunday (December 18), leaving her son Kyro - who was born in March - to face his first Christmas without his mom.

The 25-year-old's friend Claire Robinson shared the "devastating" news on GoFundMe and asked for people to dig deep so that they can create a future for Mee’s son.

On the fundraising page - which has so far raised £413 ($497) of the £5,000 ($6,023) goal for Kyro - Robinson wrote: "This Christmas will be Kyros first, and devastatingly his mummy will not be there, we are all so saddened with this devastating news how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl.

"Leaving behind her beautiful little boy who she adored with all her heart. We feel if we can raise some funds for kyro’s future just to take a little stress away from Rachel’s family and to help in some way."

"Or to even give Kyro a little head start in life raising some funds in memory of his beautiful mummy," she continued. "Let’s just do what we can to ease even just a little bit of pain for Rachel’s family and close friends."

"We are all deeply saddened by this sad news and if we can all come together in memory of the beautiful Geordie girl she was then let’s do what we can," the post concluded.

Another GoFundMe has also been created by Chris Coppen, who said that he was asked by Mee's family to set it up. It has so far raised over £5,000 ($6,023) of the £10,000 (12,058) goal and read that any money left over will go to the influencer's son.

Following the news of her death, Mee's followers shared tributes to her on her social media, with one writing: "Rest in peace beautiful. Watch down on your gorgeous baby boy and bring light into his life."
