An OnlyFans model has been arrested in Hawaii for the murder of her boyfriend.

Courtney Clenney, 26, is expected to be extradited to Miami on a charge of second-degree murder after she fatally stabbed her boyfriend in the city.

According to a report by NBC News, Miami-Dade County state attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle alleges that Clenney fatally stabbed Christian 'Toby' Obumseli on April 3, over a year after they started dating in November 2020.

The state attorney described the pair's relationship as "extremely tempestuous and combative," explaining how the building management where they lived was ready to evict them due to repeated, documented incidents of loud arguing.

Investigators believe that Clenney - who appears on OnlyFans as 'Courtney Tailor' and has over 2 million Instagram followers - killed Obumseli between 4.33 PM and 4.57 PM on April 3.

Shortly after key fob records show Obumseli entering the building at 4.32 PM, several neighbors began calling building security to report a disturbance in the couple's apartment.

At 4.57 PM, Clenney made a 911 call to request help for her partner, who could be heard in the background saying he was losing feeling.

In the wake of Obumseli's death, Clenney alleged that she stabbed him out of self-defense after he grabbed her by the throat.

Rundle recalled the suspect's version of events: "She says he threw her to the ground but allowed her to get up. And it was at that point that Clenney went to a kitchen area and got the knife as Christian sort of approached her. She threw the knife at him from a distance that she's estimated to be about 10 feet."

Contrary to Clenney's statement, medical examiners found that Obumseli was stabbed from close range and that his fatal injury could not have been caused by a thrown knife.

The model was taken into custody on Wednesday (August 10) in Hawaii, where she was attending rehab for the trauma of her boyfriend's death.

Her lawyer Frank Prieto said he was "completely shocked" by the arrest because of "the clear evidence of self-defense."

Meanwhile, a lawyer representing Obumseli’s family, Larry Handfield, said Clenney's charges came as a relief to the family and claimed that Clenney was the aggressor in the turbulent relationship.
