The cost of living crisis is hitting everyone hard, so it's no wonder people are looking to alternative ways of making money - such as selling a jar of spit for hundreds of dollars.

While many of us might be making cutbacks as bills continue to increase, the market for jars of spit appears to be holding strong, as one adult creator revealed she sold a tub of her own saliva for £200 ($245).

Elle Brooke, an OnlyFans model, recently opened up about the strangest requests she has ever had from her subscribers on the site.

From custom videos barking like a dog - which apparently is not that uncommon a request - to selling her own saliva, the adult entertainer has made a lot of money from people's unusual fetishes.

Brooke, who is currently undefeated as a YouTube boxer, having knocked out Faith Ordway in the first round on the undercard of KSI vs Faze Temperrr fight on January 14, as well as beating Love Island's AJ Bunker in a previous bout, also revealed just how much she can make on OnlyFans per month.

She revealed in an interview with The Taboo Room: "I once sold a tub of spit for like £200. I did a custom barking like a dog, but I think that's pretty normal now."

One of the more disturbing requests she has ever had was to pretend she was being sexually assaulted by a ghost in a custom video - compared to which, barking like a dog truly does sound tame.

While getting paid hundreds to spit in a tub might seem like a tempting prospect for most, it's just a drop in the ocean (sorry) for Brooke's monthly income.

Her explicit content and her monthly subscribers are reportedly bringing in "easily" £30,000 ($37,000), meaning she has cut down on the custom requests she fulfils for her fans.

She explained: "I do requests, not so much anymore because it'd be extremely expensive for me to even move. I'm kind of lazy now.

"My first couple of months I was making seven grand a month. At the time I was at uni, I was like 'that’s absolutely ridiculous,' bearing in mind I never grew up with money.

"After a year I was easily making 30 grand a month, and it’s only built up since then."

While raking in such an insane monthly income is merely a dream for most people, Brooke admitted that she is actually considering packing in the adult work sometime in the future.

She admitted: "It pains me to say this but I'm really... not [that] I'm falling out of love with OnlyFans but I think I’ve lost that spunk that I once had.

"I think when you become kind of complacent and you are happy where you are, that's when... you know, I like to always be pushing myself and exceeding my goals.

"Whereas now I think with OnlyFans I think I have somewhat plateaued. I don't think I can get any bigger than what I have now, so I think that I have kind of fallen out of love with it."
