Queen's Guard screams at store employee mistaking her for tourist: 'Get out!'

New footage has emerged on social media of the latest incident involving the Queen's guard.

Two days ago, a tourist got the fright of her life after an armed member of the Queen's Guard roared at her for coming too close and touching his horse.

TikTok user - who goes by then handle @busk1976 - shared another clip, this time of a new incident involving the guards. In the overlay text, the user wrote: "The Queen's Guard mistakes the shop lady for tourist, get out."

The video shows one of the soldiers walking behind a pillar at the royal residence just as a store employee was doing the same to enter her booth.

He then turns around - assuming that it was another tourist trying to get a photo op - and shouts "get out" at her until learning that she works on the merchandise stand. Upon realizing his mistake, he swiftly retreats and flashes a small smile.

As of this writing, the funny outburst racked up 61.5K likes and was viewed 705.3K times with many members of the online community finding the whole situation hilarious.

One user wrote about how the shopkeeper clearly wasn't fazed by the situation: "She was so calm. Definitely is not the first time and she [gets] used to it."

Another commented on the soldier being apologetic: "At least he smiled about it and she saw the funny side of it."

A third chimed in and said: "My man did a couple of walks of shame."

A fourth joked about how embarrassing it must've been for him: "Lmao I wouldn’t [have] slept for 3 weeks if I was the guard from embarrassment lmaooo."

The Queen's Guards have been protecting official royal residences for more than 350 years. Many of the guards will have served the country overseas before joining.

While their reactions might appear a little over theatrical, anyone who's experienced an encounter with the Queen's Guard will know that they take their position very seriously.

Tourists who get in the way of their job have been known to be yelled at for touching a horse and standing in their way.
