Randy Gonzalez, the father of the famous TikTok duo Enkyboys, has died at the age of 35 after battling stage 4 colon cancer.

Gonzalez rose to fame by posting hilarious lip-syncing videos on the platform with his six-year-old son Brice, as well as using the platform to raise awareness of his condition.

He first shared his diagnosis in April 2022 with his followers, telling them he had been diagnosed about six months earlier and was given two to three years to live. After, he started documenting his battle with the disease on his social platforms.

At the time, the popular TikTok personality - who along with his son amassed over 15.6 million followers - said chemotherapy could lengthen his life up to five more years, and had created a GoFundMe to help pay for his treatments.

As reported by TMZ, Gonzalez died on Wednesday (January 25) while in hospice care.

In addition to their heartwarming videos, he and Brice used their account to spread awareness about the devastating disease. His most recent health update came in December when he told to followers that his treatments were going well.

"It's going good," Gonzalez said at the time, with his son and wife by his side. "Except I have to change my chemo because it's not working right now, but I do feel good."

"I'm just happy that we're back in Texas with the family," he continued, showing his daughters and mother-in-law cooking for the holiday season. He then apologized for the lack of content due to his ongoing health struggles.

In another video posted in November, the father said having to go through treatment was "horrible," adding: "Cancer sucks. It sucks the life out of you and makes you feel like you have nothing to live for.

"But in reality, you do… You have to be strong to fight cancer and beat it," he said. "I want to be a testimony of this in another year or so when I’m still alive."

Before Gonzalez's death, his son was cast in George Lopez's TV series on NBC, Lopez vs Lopez, as Chance aka the 61-year-old comedian's grandson.

Upon hearing the sad news, Lopez shared an emotional tribute to the loving father on his Instagram page, which read: "My sincerest condolences to Brice and the entire Gonzalez family.

"The love and the bond Randy had for his son and his family was undeniable, you can see it in every video. He will be missed but never forgotten. My heart goes out to the entire family. Dios te bendiga," he added.

Our thoughts are with Gonzalez's family, friends, and fans at this time.
