Despite England coming up short against Italy in the Euros 2020 final, Prince George is still helping to melt hearts online.
Last night's loss to Italy in the UEFA European Championship final has resulted in broken hearts all over England, but that didn't stop our future king from enjoying one particular moment of the game.
Just two minutes in to Sunday's high-stakes clash, Luke Shaw put England 1-0 up when he scored an incredible goal. Wembley Stadium came unglued - with one particular seven-year-old stealing the show.
Watching the game alongside his mom and dad, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, young Prince George erupted with elation after watching the early goal.
Wearing a little three-piece suit, the third-in-line-to-the-throne was seen throwing his arms into the air, before rushing to give mom Kate a hug. The youngster then turned to his father, Prince William, as the pair laughed and celebrated together.
Without a doubt, the best part of the entire thing is when Prince George claps his hands together like a 54-year-old yacht salesman - it is adorable!
And the young prince's reaction certainly warmed the hearts of many viewers, with people taking to social media to share their response to the youngster's enthusiasm.
"Prince George reaction to the goal is the purest," wrote one Twitter user.
A second added: "25mins later still not over little Prince George's reaction to that goal. I'm no royalist but omg what a cuter. #EnglandvsItaly"
Another social media user tweeted: "*This* is why Prince George had to be at Wembley tonight - even if it's a school night. Memories forever #engIta #Euro2020Final"
"Prince George’s reaction to England scoring was the cutest thing ever," typed another.
And while we're talking about reactions, let's not forget this amazing moment from Prince William:
One viewer even tweeted: "The highlight for me from last night was definitely Prince William forgetting he was a prince and being one of us when that goal went in and Prince George for his amazing reaction! One night I’m sure none of us brits will ever forget!!"
Sadly, the youngster's joyful face soon wore a frown, as England went on to lose 3-2 to Italy on penalties:
Nevertheless, we'll still have that moment of joy.
