A new survey has revealed where Donald Trump ranks out of all the US presidents.
Trump's one-term presidency was not without its controversies - including the so-called "Muslim travel ban" and the building of the US-Mexico border wall - however, he did garner the second most votes of any presidential candidate ever in his unsuccessful bid for re-election last year, as per CBS News.
Presidential experts teamed up with 142 historians in the 2021 C-Span Presidential Historians Survey to rank America's presidents based on a number of qualities, including "crisis leadership", "economic management", and "performance within the context of the times."
Forty-four US presidents were included in the survey, but Joe Biden was not.
Donald Trump, perhaps unsurprisingly given his two impeachment trials, did not fare well in the survey and ranked 41st out of 44 US presidents since 1776.
President William Henry Harrison, who died after just 31 days in office of pneumonia, even managed to beat Trump.

The presidents who scored worse than Trump were Andrew Johnson, who was the first president in history to be impeached, per the US Senate, and Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan - all three of whom are also held responsible for contributing to the civil war and racial segregation.
While Trump was 41st overall, he did score better in the categories of "public persuasion" and "setting an agenda," but he came last in the "moral authority" category and almost last when it came to "administrative skills" and "international relations."

Trump's predecessor Barack Obama, meanwhile, ranked as one of the best presidents that the US has ever had, beating Lyndon B. Johnson to score in the top 10 of four categories which included "moral authority" and "pursuing equal justice for all."
The survey ranked Abraham Lincoln as the best president in US history - a position he has held every year since the survey began in 2000 - with George Washington coming in second place.
However, while Trump might not have ranked highly on this recent survey, he believes that he was the best person to tackle the US-Mexico border crisis and has now taken aim at Joe Biden for reversing his border policies.
