The cause of death of an Oklahoma teenager who dies under mysterious circumstances has been announced - and it tragically leaves his death still shrouded in uncertainty.
Last fall, the body of 19-year-old Noah Presgrove was found on the side of the rural US 81 highway following a Labor Day party in Jefferson County. The party had reportedly lasted a few days before the teen went missing.
The teenager was last seen by friends at the party, which took place a mile away from where the teen's naked body was discovered. He had informed them that he was leaving to go for a walk, per The Independent.
His body was discovered on the morning of September 4 by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.
As well as being found with just his shoes on, Presgrove's body also had broken ribs, a shattered skull, and his teeth were scattered around him.
Following the discovery of the teen's body, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation described the nature of Noah's death as "suspicious".
Now, PEOPLE reports that medical examiners have listed Noah's cause of death as "multiple blunt force injuries" in a summary report.
Dr. Leonardo Roquero ticked the manner of the teenager's death as "unknown" in the report, as questions remain surrounding the tragedy. Medical examiners are still unsure of when or why Noah's devastating injuries occurred.
Noah’s brother, Dailen Presgrove, has said in an interview with News Nation that he believes foul play was involved.
"[Noah] was in the fetal position. And his body was covered up," Dailen said, adding: "You can see blood seeping through the covering.
"As I’m looking at it, it just seems weird. The placement of the body. The tooth, the shorts. It doesn’t look like a hit-and-run."
News Nation reports that Noah had planned on joining the US military following his high school graduation.
Speaking to local outlet KSWO, Noah’s cousin, Avery Poucher, is urging anybody with any information regarding Noah's death to come forward, pleading: "Even if it was an accident, it doesn’t matter, come clean.
"It hurts not to know. It’ll hurt knowing, but it hurts more not to know, and wondering, and just thinking every night what happened?”
