TikTok star Tucker Genal's cause of death has been disclosed.
The 31-year-old content creator was found inside his California home on Thursday (December 11), according to Los Angeles medical examiners.
Genal’s brothers, Carson and Connor, confirmed his death in a joint Instagram post alongside a series of family photos.
Carson also shared a deeply personal tribute, writing: “I don’t even know where to begin, You were my best friend and an even better big brother, my entire life I’ve spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero,” he penned.
“I know one thing is for certain and that is that I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again," he continued. “You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for.”

The post concluded with a message from the family asking for privacy. “During this incredibly difficult time, we respectfully ask for privacy as we mourn and begin to navigate life without him. We are deeply grateful for the kindness and understanding shown to our family.”
Los Angeles medical examiners have since confirmed that Genal died by suicide.
Genal had built a huge online following, boasting 2.5 million followers on TikTok and 344K on Instagram, where he regularly shared skits, challenges, and group content with friends and family.
Just five days before his death, the 31-year-old uploaded what would become his final TikTok post, a montage of photos marking each month of the past year.
While the first 11 images were in color, the final photo representing December appeared in black and white. The caption read: “Wish I could relive some of these moments twice.”
