CNN presenter Don Lemon has branded President Donald Trump "the biggest snowflake of them all" in the wake of the Capitol riots that lead to the deaths of five people last Wednesday.
According to the Independent, Lemon's comments came in response to a Fox News segment during which anchor Bill Hemmer asked Trump campaign spokesperson Hogan Gidley if "the social media crackdown" had left the President feeling "emasculated". Trump has been permanently suspended from Twitter.
Watch as Don Lemon calls Trump the "biggest snowflake of them all" in this video:In a clip of the interview which played during Lemon's show CNN Tonight, Gidley is heard asserting "I wouldn’t say [Trump feels] emasculated. The most masculine person I think to ever hold the White House is the president of the United States.”
Lemon reacted to the clip with apparent derision and frustration,"I’ve heard a lot of pathetic things from this White House,” he said. “This one really takes the cake."
The CNN host went on to call Trump "a big tough guy who incited a riot and then hid in the White House for five days and still refuses to take responsibility," before adding of the President, "He is the biggest snowflake of them all, the biggest one!"
Lemon then went on to discuss the rhetoric that has been used by some in response to the US Presidential election, saying, "'We need to understand how they feel. Give them time to accept the election.' Really? Who’s the snowflake now?"

“The president’s legacy will be not the most masculine president, but the biggest loser we have ever had as president.” He concluded.
Meanwhile, Trump has blasted renewed efforts to impeach him as "ridiculous".
"As far as this is concerned, we want no violence. Never violence," Trump said. "On the impeachment, it’s really a continuation of the greatest witch hunt in the history of politics. It’s ridiculous. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
"This impeachment is causing tremendous anger, and you're doing it, and it’s really a terrible thing that they’re doing," he added.
"Free speech is under assault like never before. The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me, but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden administration. As the expression goes, 'Be careful what you wish for,'" he continued.
"The impeachment hoax is a continuation of the greatest and most vicious witch hunt in the history of our country, and is causing tremendous anger and division and pain, far greater than most people will ever understand, which is very dangerous for the U.S.A., especially at this very tender time."
